Currently iOS supports 50 languages and different script systems across the iOS keyboard system but that number could change as Apple wants to add even more engineers as it looks to "work closely with international teams and native speakers to accommodate all the world’s script systems."
While iOS supports 50 languages some languages like Farsi (Persian), Maltese, and Afrikaans are still missing and unsupported.
