The rumors of the next iPhone having a fingerprint sensor seem to become more valid as iOS 7 beta 4 has a new folder called "BiometricKitUI" along with additional code fragments that support the rumor.

Hamza Sood tweeted the folder along with the code fragments that point to a user being able to swipe the fingerprint sensor on the iPhone's home button. The following code is what would be read to a user using iPhone with voiceover.

The only good reason for this is if you phone gets stolen then wiped the new owner would probably use it then apple could see who has the phone by giving the print to the police but that will never happen as they don't care your phone got stolen as they will be happy to sell you another or if you had insurance anyway apple still sells a phone to the insurance company to give to you
