British Airways App Gets Passbook Support

The British Airways app for the iPhone has been updated with Passbook support.

The British Airways app makes booking, boarding and accessing the latest travel information easier than ever before. You'll have instant access to live information about your next flight, you can use your iPhone as a boarding pass on many routes and book new flights direct from your phone.

- Upcoming flights and boarding passes
Easy access to information about all your upcoming flights, including check-in, live departure time and gate numbers (from Heathrow Terminal 5) plus access to your mobile boarding pass in just one tap.


- Manage your flights
Access and purchase upgrade offers from your phone and book seats in advance - with many more features coming soon.

- Book flights
Quickly discover the cheapest flights by month for all our destinations and book British Airways flights directly from your iPhone through our revamped mobile flight booking site.

- Flight schedules and more
Search all British Airways flights for the latest arrival and departure times and you can also track the arrival or departure information for any flight in the next eight days.

- Exclusive features for Executive Club members
If you are an Executive Club member, you can check your balance and your full transaction history on your iPhone. And if you're a Silver or Gold customer, you'll be able to see the British Airways lounge Wi-Fi password. Anyone can join the Executive Club for free on ba.com.

What's New In This Version:
● This release fixes a crash issue for iOS5 users.

● We have added boarding pass integration into Passbook.

From now on, all new boarding passes will be presented in Passbook. You'll be able to download them from the app as usual and continue to use boarding passes on your iPhone in over 100 airports worldwide.

By mid June we'll be enhancing Passbook boarding passes by adding direct links to them from your iPhone's lock screen as you're ready to fly. This will make it even easier for you to access your boarding pass on the move. We'll send you a message via the app as soon as these are enabled.

● We've also fixed a number of bugs and improved stability with this latest update.
