Apple Posts iPhone v1.1.2 Firmware

Apple has posted iPhone v1.1.2 to the Apple Support site. The update is not available through iTunes as of yet though.

The update is 160MB. You can download it from: here.

No release notes have been posted yet; however, MacRumors notes the following changes:
- Modem firmware: 04.02.13_G
- TIFF Exploit patched (per Engadget) so JailBreakMe no longer works
- Devices in iTunes, battery icon shows up to indicate it charges.
- Slide for emergency call changes languages
- International keyboard available
- No horizontal text messaging (per villanova329)
- iToner works.

MacNN has noted the following:
- brings support for Language, Keyboards, Asian Font, and Region Format
- turning on multiple keyboards places globe key on the left of the space bar to allow users to cycle through various keyboards
- no search functionality in mail (yet)
- no direct support for Google IMAP accounts (still have to bypass the Gmail setup)
- no support for sending SMS to multiple recipients
- using AppSnap for "jailbreak" no longer works
-- Apple's own documentation (decompress via StuffIt Expander) has no details, just pointing users to the iPhone site, security update site, etc.
- users report the 'Add Event' function was added to to the iPod touch calendar application.
- the update also shows the iPod battery charge level/status from within iTunes
