Information Appliance Associates announces the release of PocketMac Backup for SalesForce, the original SalesForce backup solution for Mac users.

"Every good salesperson knows the only two assets you have are your brains and your customer list," said Terence Goggin, CTO of Information Appliance Associates. "These are uncertain times, and regardless of what happens to your employer, you want know that your lists are safe."

PocketMac Backup for SalesForce gets contacts from customers' SalesForce accounts and saves them to the Mac OS X Address Book. It does this automatically, every 15 minutes, with no user involvement. This ensures a timely, regular backup of essential contact data.

The software also saves backups of calendar and task data to iCal as well, so that users can keep track of appointments even without internet access.

Goggin continued, "This tool ensures that your customer and prospect lists are with you, where they belong."

After PocketMac Backup for SalesForce backs up SalesForce data to iCal and Address Book, Mac users can synchronize this data with their phone.

Goggin concluded, "Basically, if you're using SalesForce and a Macintosh, this a crucial tool. Simple. Easy to use and implement."

Pricing and Availability:
PocketMac Backup for SalesForce runs on Mac OS X (10.5 Leopard) and retails for $34.95 (USD).
