After meeting with suppliers in Asia, Topeka Capital analyst Brian White believes Apple will release the iPhone 5S in 'at least' two screen sizes.
"After our meeting with a tech-supply chain company, we walked away with the view that Apple will release the iPhone 5S in at least two screen sizes this summer and possibly three," says White.
"Essentially, we believe Apple is coming around to the fact that one size per iPhone release does not work for everyone and offering consumers an option has the potential to expand the Company’s market share," writes White.
While Apple has previously claimed that the iPhone 5's display is the perfect size for a smartphone, customers have been flocking to larger displayed Android devices. The new Samsung Galaxy S 4 boasts a 5-inch full HD display and will go on sale soon to rival the smaller 4-inch iPhone.
The rest of Apple products such as the iMac, MacBook, iPad, and iPod are offered in multiple screen sizes but Apple has yet to drop any hints that it would consider doing the same for iPhone.
