Apple Again Rumored to be Using Qualcomm Snapdragon Chip for Low Cost iPhone

Apple is said to be using a Qualcomm Snapdragon chip for a lower cost iPhone, according to the China Times.

Supply Chain Industry revealed that Apple's low-cost iPhone uses a Qualcomm Snapdragon single-chip, initially only support 3G without support for 4G LTE single-chip native support for WiFi and Bluetooth wireless networking capability, so do not need to increase the wireless network mode group. Of this chip commissioned TSMC foundry to 28 nm.

It's suggested that the ability to integrate Bluetooth and Wi-Fi directly into the main chip would save Apple on costs. Other sources, such as KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, believe that Apple will use its A6 chip for the device.

i think the low cost i[phone] is for 3rd world developing countries. if not then i dont think they will be using a snap dragon anytime soon, why would they?
