Screenshots from a leaked build of Android 4.2.1 reveal that Samsung will be launching a new Eye Scrolling features for its Galaxy S smartphones, reports SamMobile.
Originally, the site believed these screenshots to be from the Samsung Galaxy S IV; however, they are actually from leaked firmware which will be released for the Samsung Galaxy S III following the debut of the S4. The site says it has confirmed with an insider that the S4 will indeed have these features.
The New York Times also reported yesterday that the Samsung Galaxy S IV will feature Eye Scrolling and has filed for the necessary trademarks.
Maybe Apple will come up with something. It will be called iMotion.
Blink twice = the paragraph will scroll
Wink with right eye = turn pages
Wink with left eye = turn previous pages
If you can't wink you're SOL.
Laugh all you want. Your idea sounds awesome and totally a thing apple would do. I'm sure in time apple will improve the feature and when it's stable and perfect they will release it. I'm glad they offer it as an option so those who find it ridiculous don't have to use it. I would, this is an excellent feature.
I would never use this feature if i were to buy this phone, i reckon it actually detects the movement of head as the description tells on the second screenshot, i would look retarded moving my head up and down front of a phone.
No one is going to use this feature.
The same as that Tap and tag video or text that they advertise.
I have friends that they hate that feature on galaxy S3,first you have to active it.Takes too long 2 transfer .
Not accurate
SIRI is the most advanced and innovative feature of all time.
Little things like this wont wow customers.
Apple like 2 attract people, they like to invent stuff that most people want to use...not using them for one day then you forget about it.
Thats what is going to happen for this eye bullsshit .
FYI, Apple did not invent Siri. They simply bought a company that invented it years prior to its release. It was actually available several years before Apple bought the company and integrated it into iOS (for some devices....)
you mad bro ?
you think that with this "innovation" Shamesung will beat Apple.... you may think it as EPIC ... but after a week of using this Eye-scrolling technology...your eyes might hurt....
and anyways....how will you scroll with your eyes during night-time....?
