Houdah Software has announced the immediate availability of HoudahSpot 2.4, their popular file search utility for Mac OS X. HoudahSpot 2.4 is a free update, and is recommended for all Leopard users.
HoudahSpot 2.4 adds another top user requested feature: Text preview. In addition to the existing QuickLook preview, HoudahSpot now provides a dedicated preview feature for text files. Within this preview search strings are automatically highlighted for efficient search result browsing. Additionally it is possible to search the text preview.
