Step Four
Your cursor will change to a white box. Move this white box over the webpage area you would like to create a widget from. Click to select the area.

Step Five
If the area isn't perfectly selected, use the handles on the box to drag it to fit the desired area perfectly.

Step Six
Click the Apply button at the top right of the screen.

Step Seven
The selected area will now appear as a widget on your dashboard. You can drag and place it wherever you choose.

The links are active which makes this a really useful shortcut.
