EdgeRift has released AllSecure, a password and information manager for Mac OS X. Previously known as RiftVault, the software makes collecting and securing personal information easy and fun with a graphically rich interface and robust security features.

AllSecure encrypts any type of data, and offers nearly a dozen built-in templates to store passwords, bank accounts, credit cards, serial numbers, calling cards, frequent flyer information, insurance information, secure notes, and other information. File encryption is as simple as a drag and drop, which makes it easy to secure documents, spreadsheets, presentations, receipts, and everything in between.

To keep data secure, AllSecure utilizes AES-256 encryption combined with the SHA-256 hashing algorithm and performs memory scrubbing to prevent information stored inside the application from staying in RAM. An OpenSSL-based password generator is built-in to create cryptographically secure passwords not guessable by computer hacking software. Web login autofilling (Safari-compatible) provides keylogger protection, and user-configurable autolocking functionality ensures valuable information stays secure when users leave their Macs.

AllSecure takes advantage of the latest Mac OS X Leopard technologies, including Core Animation, and supports automatic backups via Time Machine.

Pricing and System Requirements:
AllSecure is affordably priced at $39 (USD)and is available from the EdgeRift website. Media licenses are available upon request for members of the press and blogging community.
