Apple has announced that its 2013 'Lucky Bag' promotional event for Japan will take place at seven stores on January 2nd, reports Tech in Asia.
The bags cost 33,000 yen or about $390. Inside you'll find things like iPods, headphones, and other accessories or if you're lucky an iPad, MacBook, or maybe a Mac Mini. You'll need to line up very early, typically the night before, for a chance to purchase one of these Lucky Bags.
Apple is expected to announce a sale for China soon as well:
Now, if you’re not in Japan, you can expect Apple to soon announce some sales where you are too. Fans in China especially can look forward to an announcement soon, as the dragon graphic for the Japan sale (pictured above) looks like it was designed with China in mind. Last year we saw Apple promote new years sales all across Asia on a Friday, so I expect we’ll see something similar this year, perhaps for next Friday, January 4. Stay tuned!
