Dock+ is a solid steel dock designed specifically for the iPhone that is seeking funding on Kickstarter.
Dock+ is machined from a single block of steel, a material 3.6x more dense than aluminum. That means it doesn’t tip or wobble as you use or dock your iPhone. And with non-slip rubber bottom, it doesn't slide. Your iPhone 5 just feels safe and secure.
Dock+ protects your device from scratches with a soft rubber pad around the mounting area. The dock will ship with two pads of different thicknesses to allow for a perfect fit even if you use a case.
The dock is finished with the same process used to paint and surface cars and is available in Black, White, or Raw Steel (for Kickstarter). Each Raw Steel Dock+ will be individually hand-stamped with a unique, incrementing serial number, in the order the docks are made.
A patent pending design allows the charging pin to flex for easy undocking and features sound chambers to ensure your speakers aren't muffled.
The project is seeking $75,000 in funding with $18,000 already raised and 58 days to go. You can pledge $59 ($79 with power block) to be one of the first people to get the dock when it ships in March.
