Apple will unveil a 13-inch Retina Display MacBook Pro at a media event which will likely take place on October 23rd, according to a 'consistently reliable' 9to5Mac source. The event may also see the launch of a smaller iPad and updated iMacs.
This new 13-inch MacBook Pro with a Retina Display is said to pick up the thinner and lighter enclosure of the 15-inch MacBook Pro with Retina display that was released in June.
The new 13-inch MacBook Pro will be sold in two configurations, with differing processors and storage, and will be available for purchase soon after introduction.
The new notebook will be sold at a higher price than the current 13-inch MacBook and is codenamed D1.
