Apple has announced that it will be holding a special event on September 12th at which it's expected to unveil the next generation iPhone, reports The Loop.
Apple on Tuesday sent out invites for an upcoming event happening in San Francisco on September 12, 2012. The invitation I received says the event will take place at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts at 10:00 am.
The new iPhone is expected to look something like this.
Well, looks like I was wrong about what it's going to be called. I still however, find it incredibly illogical to called a 6th Generation iPhone, the iPhone 5. Just saying.
The most simple, suttle and yet on your face way to announce iPhone 5. Only Apple can be so simple, direct and appealing in its presentation and product portfolio.
it means nothing. iPhone 2G because of EDGE NETWORK it was 2nd Gen Network. iPhone 3G because of 3RD Generation Network. iPhone 3GS was a faster 3G version iPhone. iPhone 4 was because it was the 4th phone. iPhone 4S is the 5th iPhone. IF ANYTHING!!!! The next iPhone might be called iPhone 4G because of LTE Technology.
