A new report from Modaco suggests Google will release a 3G Nexus 7 Tablet in a few weeks time.
I love my Nexus 7, but I really wish there was a 3G version. Well, according to our very well placed insider - my wish is about to be answered!
There's not a huge amount to say... a 3G version of the Nexus 7 is coming, with no other hardware changes. Asus is currently ramping production in preparation for launch in around 6 weeks, with the exact launch date and territories still to be confirmed.
This would put the 3G Nexus 7 launch at about the same time as the expected release of a 7-inch iPad.
KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo believes that Apple will first launch the 13" Retina MacBook Pro and a new 21.5" iMac in September. That will be followed by the iPhone 5 and new iPod touch. In early October the company will then launch the modified new iPad and a new iPod nano. Finally at the end of October the new iPad mini and new 27" iMac will be released.
