New Photos Purportedly Show 'iPhone 5' Logic Board With Shielding Removed

Photos purporting to be of the 'iPhone 5' logic board with its shielding removed have been posted online by Sina.com, reports MacRumors.

Unfortunately, the quality of the photos make it difficult to glean any information from them; however, the source claims that board uses the A5X chip found in the iPad 3.

The report claims that the original source has said that the next-generation iPhone will use the A5X system-on-a-chip found in the third-generation iPad, although that conclusion does not appear to be directly drawn from the logic board photos. Other sources have been unclear on what chip Apple will use in the new iPhone given that it does not necessarily need the full graphics capabilities of the latest iPad and will almost certainly require that RAM be included within the package rather than separately as seen with the A5X in the iPad.

Take a look below...

Who takes these pictures?! If I was there I'd take a good pic of the components and details, not no out of focus picture in horrible lightning ........ The camera could also be old and not as good.

Is it just me or does that piece in the zip lock bag look too big to be an iPhone part?

I would sooner believe in UFO's than this logic board belonging to the iPhone 5.
