A leaked photo may have revealed the Samsung Galaxy Note 2, an upcoming smartphone that will compete with the new iPhone by offering an even bigger screen, reports KnowYourMobile.
Our source tells us that the device will feature a 5.5-inch display, confirming earlier reports that it would be even bigger than its predecessor, but did not go into specifics about the display technology - our guess would be that Samsung will use one of its Super AMOLED setups.
The Galaxy Note 2, like the Samsung Galaxy S3, will feature a quad-core processor, presumably Samsung's Exynos 4 Quad, as well as 2GB of RAM and Samsung's next-generation S-Pen technology, making it one hell of an update.
Nokia and Microsoft are also readying some competition for the new iPhone and have announced a press event just one week before the expected 'iPhone 5' unveiling.
