Microsoft has launched a new clothing line in an attempt to bring back the cool to its brand, according to AdAge.
The new line is called, "Softwear by Microsoft." The concept was conceived by ad agency Crispin Porter & Bogusky and they were responsible for the branding and many of the designs. For star power, rapper Common contributed some retro designs to the collection.
The line launched this week in New York and should be on shelves by December 15th. It features retro MS-DOS fonts and a Bill Gates mugshot tee.
Microsoft calls it a "clothing line that taps the nostalgia of when PCs were just starting to change our lives," one that's made to "showcase the DOS days of the software company that now connects over a billion people."
