Sharp has announced that it will start shipping screens destined for the next iPhone this month, reports Reuters.
"Shipments will start in August," Sharp's new president, Takashi Okuda, said at a press briefing in Tokyo on Thursday after the company released its latest quarterly earnings.
He declined to give a more specific date for shipments.
LG Display and Japan Display are also said to be suppliers for the new display which according to Reuters sources will be 4 inches corner to corner - 30% bigger than the current iPhone.
Apple is expected to unveil the device at a September 12th special event.
