Apple Accidentally Sends Out OS X Server Redeem Codes

Apple's headache with OS X Mountain Lion redeem codes continues. Today users are reporting that they've received redeem codes for OS X Server instead of Mountain Lion, reports MacRumors.

A reader tells them:

I just got my second code and was able to redeem it. The only problem is when it redeemed it came up with an error saying OSX Server cannot be downloaded because it requires OSX 10.8.0 to run. It seems they sent me a redemption code for server instead of mountain lion. The pdf with the code clearly says that the code is for mountain lion...

My purchased tab only shows OSX Server - no mountain lion...

Yesterday customers were reported having received redeem codes that were already used and we have yet to receive our redeem code. Apple support is telling callings that the issue will be resolved in 72 hours. If you've received an OS X Server Code try contacting uptodatesupport@apple.com.
