An analyst has predicted that consumers will eventually choose not to buy cellular enabled (3G/4G/LTE) iPads and other tablets. The report, which originates from CCS Insight, claims that the demand for these tablets will being to drop over the next four years, and in response, manufacturers will obviously reduce the number of celular enabled tablets.
CCS Insight believes that cellular enabled tablets shipments will drop from 48% in 2011 to 37% in 2016.
Interestingly enough, both AT&T and Verizon have just launched their shared data plans, indicating a push on their part for the sale LTE iPads and other tablets.
