News Corp Puts The Daily Publication 'On Watch'?

As News Corp readies its print and television properties for the company's split, it has reportedly put The Daily 'on watch', according to the New York Observer.

In an article detailing the shutdown of Newscore, a beloved internal newswire, the site also suggests that The Daily might be next.

There are internal rumors that The Daily has been put "on watch." According to a source the status of the groundbreaking iPad tabloi--which loses $30 million a year--will be reassessed after the November 6 election.
