Facebook has hired Chris Weeldreyer, an eight year Apple employee, to be a product design manager for the company, reports InsideFacebook.
Facebook hired former Apple UI design manager Chris Weeldreyer to be product design manager, according to LinkedIn and Weeldryer's Facebook Timeline. Weeldreyer had worked for Apple for eight years. He appears to have been recruited by Facebook since we have no record of the company ever having an public job listing for the position.
In addition to this hire, Facebook has been rumored to have hired more than half a dozen former Apple software and hardware engineers to help it build a smartphone.
