Dropbox has updated its app for iOS with the ability to automatically upload photos and videos, move and delete sets of files at once, upload files of any size, and more.

Dropbox is a free service that lets you bring all your photos, docs, and videos anywhere. Any file you save to your Dropbox is accessible from all your computers, iPhone, iPad and even the Dropbox website!

for those of you who after the upgrade the app crashes on iphone, just delete it and reinstall it from the appstore, it will work again, of course with the update

Great, they finally support backing up your photos only after Apple always offers it. The last time I upgraded, Apple restored all my contacts, all my apps, most of my data and all my photos, then a couple of days ago Dropbox comes along and says, "Hey, guess what, store the exact same thing on me and I'll give you a couple more megabytes of storage. Too little too late. It's a useless feature!

The point is that Apple already does this. Maybe it helps with Android, but for iOS devices, it appears they're just trying to jump on the boat after it's already left the dock and is out to sea. That's not to say that dropbox as a whole is bad, just that this photo upload offers nothing that iOS users don't already have.

I also had this problem. To fix it, delete the app and reinstall it. It will ask you to login and go through the setup process step by step.

Yea, I updated and now I launch the app it ask for pw, I enter it and it crashes. What gives? Rebooted and safe mode to no avail.
