AnandTech has posted some benchmarks for the performance of USB 3.0 and the SSD in the new Retina Display MacBook Pro.
For the their QuickBench tests it looks like read speed approaches 500MB/s, while sequential writes are closer to 400MB/s.
Using an Apricorn SATA to USB 3.0 adapter to measure copy time to/from a 512GB OCZ Vertex 4 SSD the site measured a 9x improvement in USB 3.0 transfer speeds.
