T-Mobile 4G Versus iPhone 4S on AT&T, Sprint, and Verizon [Video]

T-Mobile 4G Versus iPhone 4S on AT&T, Sprint, and Verizon [Video]

Posted May 9, 2012 at 3:23pm by iClarified
T-Mobile has launched a site comparing the speed of the Samsung Galaxy S II on its new 4G network with the iPhone 4S on AT&T, Sprint, and Verizon.

How much faster is T-Mobile's 4G network compared to the iPhone 4S on AT&T's network? Don't blink or you may miss it. Now see how much faster our 4G speeds are for real at tmobile.com/testdrive.

Although these comparisons suggest you go with the Galaxy S II on T-Mobile over the iPhone 4S on the other networks, T-Mobile's new 4G network will actually support the iPhone 4S.

T mobile's 4G network is HSPA not LTE and the iPhone 4S is capable of using HSPA so the comparison is legit but probably not all that accurate what is stupid is that we call HSPA 4G

And LTE. As T-Mobile will begin using the 1900Mhz spectrum. The iPhone 4 S will work great with it. It's an excellent comparison. The best free iPhone tutorials on the web. A5six dot com

In fact there isn't a industry defined term for "4G" it's a very loose terminology...

I totally agree. This is lame. The iPhone is not 4G LTE capable, so in essence they shouldn't be comparing it's internet speed with any 4G LTE phone, period. Why don't they test and compare both these phones processor's speed instead? Or at least wait for a 4G LTE Capable iPhone.

Man, 3rd time trying to type this out. ATT is the one that changed their 4S' 3G icon to 4G. Since Tmobile is 4G, why not compare the two? It's like Honda's FIT gets renamed to Honda Supercar, wouldn't other Supercar titled car want to race them? Don't use the name and cry foul when it's put to the test....

tmobile doesnt even have an LTE network, so they're not exactly comparing the iPhone 4S to LTE phones. Both phones are running on HSPA+ Both networks call that 4G. Tmobile is trying to say their HSPA+ is faster than ATT's. Too bad you can't get a TMobile signal unless ur standing directly under a tower...

Really? Ha! Being in the military, I spend the majority of my time in the desert in California, Nevada, and Arizona. During this time, I get to set back and laugh as I watch AT&T users walk up and down hills attempting to get service, while I enjoy my T-Mobile service. I may not have 4G everywhere, but T-Mobile has never let me down, even when I'm not using T-Mobile, I am roaming for FREE on something else, and it's usually not AT&T.
