Ashton Kutcher is set to play Steve Jobs in the upcoming indie film entitled 'Jobs' which is written by Matt Whiteley and will be directed by Michael Stern, according to Variety.
The film will chronicle Steve Jobs from wayward hippie to co-founder of Apple, where he became one of the most revered creative entrepreneurs of our time. Five Star Institute's Mark Hulme is financing and will produce the pic, which is skedded to start production in May while Kutcher is on hiatus from his hit CBS series.
Sony is also Aaron Sorkin is 'strongly considering' writing the Steve Jobs movie for Sonyproducing a film based on the Walter Isaacson biography of Steve Jobs. Last November, Aaron Sorkin was rumored to be 'strongly considering' writing the Steve Jobs movie for Sony. No word on whether that title has gone into production yet.
