Andy Rubin, Google's SVP of Mobile and Digital Content, reveals that over 850,000 new Android devices are activated each day giving the mobile operating system a year-on-year growth rate of more than 250%. Rubin also notes that the total number of Android devices worldwide has exceeded 300 million.
