Jumsoft, a developer of high-quality applications for Mac OS X, has announced an updated version of its invoicing application Bill Engine. Bill Engine 1.1 presents an improved invoice template editor, more flexible project and invoice functions, and localized versions for French and German speakers.
Created for small businesses and those who are self-employed, Bill Engine features a simple and intuitive system to generate and manage invoices for both products and services. It allows a user to keep a list of individuals and companies with whom he or she works and displays all client information relevant in the billing process. The Inventory list displays many products and services that the user's business provides. The Projects feature combines the client and inventory lists and allows the user to record the products sold to a specific client and monitor the time spent on the provided services. Once a project is set up, a user can generate an invoice with just a couple of clicks.
"A few of our applications are available in multiple languages, and that's what our clients look for in Bill Engine," says Algirdas Unguvaitis, general manager of Jumsoft. In addition to the new localizations, Bill Engine 1.1 features a few new fields in the template editor, projects, and invoices; a more flexible discount function in invoices; and improved drag and drop functionality. In addition, several bugs have been fixed, including some in the template editor, client search, invoice numbering, and printing.
