Apple CEO Tim Cook has reportedly replied to an email voicing concerns over the company's selection for its new Senior Vice President of Retail, John Browett.
Tony Hart emailed Cook after hearing that Browett was named as Ron Johnson's replacement. He, like many other online commentors, noted that the Dixons Retail stores that Browett headed up are notorious for their poor customer service and customer experience.
Here's what Cook had to say:
-----
Tony,
I talked to many people and John was the best by far. I think you will be as pleased as I am. His role isn't to bring Dixons to Apple, [it's] to bring Apple to an even higher level of customer service and satisfaction.
