vThinking Studio has announced the release and immediate availability of Voice Calendar 1.1, an update to their voice activated productivity app for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. Available on iTunes App Store worldwide, Voice Calendar understands what you say and it sets up a daily schedule for you. Voice calendar supports various time expressions. For example you may say:
'Call my Dad at 7 pm.'
'Go to hospital on Friday.'
'Meeting in 45 minutes.'
'July 17th is John birthday.'
'Shopping in two days.'
'Sale Meeting in three hours.'
While the built-in calendar requires user input title, setup date and time to create an event, Voice Calendar generates calendar items by a user's voice. In addition, Voice Calendar is synchronized with the devices' built-in calendar database. User events are backed up in the iCloud. Voice Calendar's built-in common holidays in America, Canada, Australia, British and New Zealand, so user may say:
'Visit John at 9 on Christmas Day.'
'Shopping on Good Friday.'
'Party on Easter Day.'
You can also ask date calculation questions, like 'Which day of the week is April 6th?' or 'What date will it be this Friday?' And app will speak out the result.
