Apple appears to have accidentally released an internal testing app called 'GameStore', noticed Flo's Weblog.
The app description reads "This application allows you to buy different things from within the app." It features a few racing-themed in-app purchases but does not have any actual functionality.
MacRumors notes that the posting date is June 9, 2009 which was during the WWDC just before the release of iPhone OS 3.0 and the debut of in-app purchasing.
You can purchase GameStore from the App Store for $0.99 if you want to check it out.
