Check out this music video by some Apple employees that mocks the company's decision to license out Mac OS in 1995.

When John Sculley was ousted by Apple's board of directors in June 1993, Michael Spindler took over as CEO. In 1995 he decided to license out Mac OS 7 and nearly signed a major deal with Gateway; however, at the last minute Spindler backed out of the deal because he felt clones had begun to steal Mac sales instead of growing the Mac market. When Steve Jobs returned to Apple these licensing deals were cancelled.

This video was shot in front of the Apple HQ by some Apple employees who naed themselves "Dave Garr and The Licensees". In those Michael Spindler had decided to license the Mac OS to several companies, like Umax, Power Computing, and DayStar.

Check out the video entitled, "I Think We're a Clone Now".
