Pod2g Demos Untethered iOS 5.0.1 Jailbreak on the iPhone 4 [Video]

Pod2g has posted a video demonstrating an untethered jailbreak of iOS 5.0.1 on the iPhone 4.

Here is a new video demo of the current status of the 5.0.1 jailbreak running on an iPhone 4. This is meant to reassure people that were thinking it only works on older iPods.

The jailbreak is near ready for prime time (excluding 4S and iPad 2). Patches are the same as redsn0w's. Expect the same level of stability. Some more days to wait. Be patient, we're doing our best.

Repeating my self - its pretty obvious that Pod2g is just delaying the JB just for pumping more donations. Good for him! I would probably do the same.

For some reason that doesn't look like an iPhone 4. Can someone actually confirm it? But seriously - it looks like a 3GS.

Its a iPhone 4, the main give away is the front facing camera, and the round volume buttons on the side.

I don't said he doesn't have the untethered jailbreak. I just said that is when will he intend to release it, until his pocket is full of other people hard earn money? He doesn't work for free, he got a lot of donation. if you said he work for free then why he accept donation. Donation is suppose to be free willing not to be push by demo video he keep on putting up.

I am not a hater, but this kind of thread is getting to old. If you intended to release it then set a day straight out and announce it. When you are not intend to release it stop showing off new video to make people blow up your paypal donation account. You keep telling people to wait for some more, and how much more, days, weeks, months, or years until what. Untill your paypal account go up to the point you just need to sit there don't have to do anything for life since you got enough money from that. Lastly, don't anybody tell that he work for free. He work for his pleasure and the donation. The reason he keeps on doing those cat and mouse games just to get more donation since the old thread get cold.

Hater! Stop reading these posts if they offend you so much. In fact, it would probably be best if you avoid iClarified altogether. It should be noted that pod2g did NOT post this here. He put the post, very appropriately, on his own site. iClarified chose to note his post here. /so hate on i/clrified if you will, not on pod2g.

He's trying to work the bugs out. Bugs are issues that are unpredictable or unforeseen. How does one set a day taking into account unknown problems? Likely what would happen is he'd set a day, find a large bug that is hard to fix and then end up missing the day and people would bitch even more. Which I find hard to fathom.

Im perfectly happy with Semi-Tethered, how often does one need to reboot a phone anyways. If needed, i do, but in the last two months it has never come up, where i wasnt near a pc to tetherboot it. Phone and texting still works anyways once rebooted.

Most people do pay but there is no way i am donating until a working jb is released. i wouldnt pay for an engine for my car without having it fitted. all people have done is buy him some cool apple devices. but if/when its released i will donate

How many more times is he going to release a teaser video. i appreciate every effort the community puts in to developing the JB's but id prefer they just dont announce news on a JB but just release the JB when it finished

I Have a Bunch of Software REQUIRING iOS 5, YES, get it out!.. Videos of DEMO is really kinda useless to anyone. EVERYONE has been Waiting, and Waiting and then Waiting more... Like to see this by Christmas, when Everyone gets a iPad/iPhone under a tree...

Ya, this is extremely weird. Sure, he shows it for half a second but c'mon. I also don't see Newstand anywhere on the springboard. You would think he'd want people to know 100% this is iOS 5. Actually show the version, show you have other stock iOS 5 apps like Newstand running and then reboot it. I'm highly skeptical of this whole situation.

What?.. Skeptical?.. YOU mean After getting Funds for a New Ipad2 and iPhone 4S there is NOTHING to be Released?.... WE have all been waiting as DEV-TEAM and others said they had it also. NOW (Still with 4.3) and a bunch of my software requiring 5.0 or later, and 5.1 out, You'd think someone (THAT SAID THEY had something) would release it..... Skeptical, NOT me!...
