Apple is reportedly planning to launch its iTunes Music Store across Latin America on December 8th, according to the weekly Brazilian magazine Veja.

The magazine says one catch to the announcement will be that Apple will initially only allow payments in U.S. dollars with international credit cards. This restriction is most likely temporary and Veja reports that Apple should be able to bill customers in their local currency in about six months.

As part of its promotional for the new store, Apple is said to have closed deals with Brazilian music labels. A very popular artist in Latin America, Carlos has not released his songs on any site yet, making it a big coup for iTunes to offer his work.

We'll let you know if Apple officially confirms any of these plans.
