Developer Eric Day has released Siri0us, a package for jailbroken iOS devices that enables Siri dictation functionality.

Siri dictation http://www.if0rce.com/siri0us/ Please retweet, I will release it when getting enough retweets. ;-)" It's alive now!

To install Siri on your device you must jailbreak and install the Siri0us package from the http://apt.if0rce.com Cydia repository.

Initial reports reveal that Siri0us works on the iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, and iPod touch 4. We will be posting instructions soon. Stay tuned!

Update:

No it must bee on 5.0.. What's the point of being at 4.3.5 if its tethered? Might as well Update to 5.0 or 5.0.1, which are both tethered

I finally got the repo to add and the tweak installed with no problem. The only issue is that there are ads occasionally when the microphone opens up which is pretty annoying.

You know Apple is going to shut this down right? Do not pay any money for this because Apple is going to slam this door in a NY minute.

It's not Siri, just (Siri engine driven) voice dictation. Use this repo http://cydia.myrepospace.com/TechnoSmarts312/

Yes, once again IClarified completely misleads it's reader base by posting this article with a false title. They're getting just as bad as the media outlets. And what for? Sad ...
Frank
Frank - November 28, 2011 at 12:45am
Seem like the title has been updated already. While slightly confusing it was correct. This is Siri functionality, though not all of it. Maybe you should have read the description before clicking.

What did it say before?
Frank
Frank - November 28, 2011 at 1:27am
It just said 'Siri' instead of 'Siri Dictation' in the title.

The title is still wrong because it doesn't work on 3GS. I and many 3GS users have tried it and it's no good.
