AlwaysOn Technologies has announced the release of Cloud Browse v4.0, with major improvements for the iPhone. Due to popular demand, the application now supports full retina display resolution on the iPhone.

While the iPad version has always supported high resolution, earlier versions of the product didn't render as crisply on the iPhone, so users wishing to play games or view other content on the web didn't enjoy the same level of display clarity.

Cloud Browse unlocks Flash and Java for iPad and iPhone by hosting a secure desktop FireFox browser session on remote Amazon cloud servers. An Android version of Cloud Browse is slated for release in late 2011.

Consumers have shown great enthusiasm for the Cloud Browse product, when they discover that Flash and Java aren't supported on their new iPad, iPhone, and iPod touch devices. The product has been downloaded approximately 500,000 times from the iTunes store, and has enjoyed double digit monthly growth rates since launch in mid- 2010. AlwaysOn Technologies, Inc. builds B2C applications and also works with businesses on rapid desktop mobile deployment needs for consumer facing and internal applications.

Pricing and Availability:
Cloud Browse 4.0 is $2.99 USD (or equivalent amount in other currencies) and available worldwide exclusively through the App Store in the Utilities category.
