VMware Fusion 1.1 Release Candidate has been released and it works well on pre-release versions of Mac OS X Leopard. VMware Fusion is a way to run Windows on your Intel-based Mac.

New and Improved Features in VMware Fusion 1.1 Release Candidate
- VMware Fusion 1.1 now includes English, French, German, and Japanese versions
- Unity improvements include:
o My Computer, My Documents, My Network Places, Control Panel, Run, and Search are now available in the Applications menu, Dock menu, and the Launch Applications window
o Improved support for Windows Vista 32 and 64-bit editions
o Improved Unity window dragging and resizing performance
- Boot Camp improvements include:
o Support for Microsoft Vista in a virtual machine
o Improved support for preparing Boot Camp partitions
o Automatically remount Boot Camp partition after Boot Camp virtual machine is shut down
- Improved support for Mac OS X Leopard hosts
- Improved 2D drawing performance, especially on Santa Rosa MacBook Pros

Bugs Resolved with VMware Fusion 1.1 Release Candidate
- Intel VT is now correctly enabled on 64-bit Intel Macs when powering-on/resuming a virtual machine after the Mac is put to sleep or awaken
- Fixed issue where VMware Fusion would use more memory over time
- Resolved issue where Unity windows would freeze in certain cases
- Improved DNS resolution when using NAT networking
- Fixed issue where Caps Lock mapping preference would always be reset after using VMware Fusion 1.1 Beta
- Restore ability to shrink virtual disks lost after using VMware Fusion 1.1 Beta
