Zibri Speaks Out About QuickPwn

Zibri Speaks Out About QuickPwn

Posted August 20, 2008 at 9:15am by iClarified
Zibri is speaking out regarding QuickPwn and suggests that the iPhone Dev-Team is stealing his idea.

-----
Let me tell you something about the columbus egg and quickpwn.

Quickpwn works exactly on the same principle of ZiPhone:
it creates a ramdisk and executes it.
In the crafted ramdisk a patcher modifies the OS for activation.
It's conceptually a good work (ZiPhone was indeed a good work).
I am glad dev team abandoned their pwn to switch to a ZiPhone like program.
Now who is the idea stealer here ?

Anyhow, enough with drama.
My new "egg" idea has nothing to do with all this.
And I don't even know if I will ever release it.
For now (as it happened with ZiPhone) I am using it and testing it.

speak for yourself dude, Europe is not with Zibri.. but with DevTeam ;) clearly, the DevTeam's methods of customizing and unlocking are more orthodox than Zibri's (modders know why ;) ) since the release of Pwnage, Zibri's all messed up, read his blogs if you don't believe me.. all of them ar simple chit chat bitchin subjects.. but with nothing rock solid (aka some tool or method for dealing the 2.0 firmware) so..who's the man here? the Devteam who's prviding us tools for dealing with the latest firmwares or the Zibri dude who states "not even to update the itunes and wait for some magic inexistent tool" "nemaste" :))

You cant deny that Zibri helps out thousands of us so he does deserve thanks for that as Ziphone was a very easy method which used a ramdisk exploit he found albeit with other "open source" combined methods to unlock, activate and jailbreak in fast simple one click method. this is why it gained as much popularity. Now it seems others have wakend up to what made Ziphone so popular and have set out to do the same :o) Zibri still claims to have the secret of his exploit so it will be interesting if his ego can be held back but not releasing it :o)

A cryptic message with non-committal promises. Uggg No man is an island. One plants, another waters, and yet another harvests. Who is more important? Either we work together or die.
