An alleged internal Rogers memo leaked online by iPhoneinCanada informs employees that iPhone pre-launch training begins August 11th.
The memo reads:
As of August 11th, the training for the iPhone pre-launch will start. Please complete this training once notified by the Just in Time (JIT) training coordinator in your site. The module is a 45 minute self-study; please make sure to complete the following training: iPhone Pre-Launch Training Rogers Wireless 2011.
A recent report by The Guardian claimed that Apple has already delivered the iPhone 5 to carriers for testing. If this memo is real it could mean that Canadians will be in the initial launch group of countries, unlike last year. Also corroborating this is another internal memo seen by BGR that reportedly listed the iPhone 5 launch date as October 1st on Telus, another Canadian carrier.
