Microsoft to Purchase Nokia for $19 Billion?

Microsoft to Purchase Nokia for $19 Billion?

Industry insider Eldar Murtazin says Microsoft has decided that they would spend $19 billion to acquire Nokia.

One small software company decided last week that they could spent 19 bln USD to buy a part of small phone vendor. Thats it.

Murtazin correctly predicted that Nokia would adopt Windows Phone 7 as the operating system for its smartphones; however, Nokia claims these rumors are not true.

"These rumors are 100 percent baseless," Nokia spokesman Doug Dawson told Reuters.

Nokia's statement references the BGR article which claims that Nokia and Microsoft struck a deal. This seems to be a misinterpretation of the tweet which merely states that Microsoft is willing to spend $19 billion.

Murtazin argues that if his report is so baseless than why is Nokia so upset...

Why Nokia stuff so angry about me today? If my facts baseless, then why you so angry? I think that you want better price, yeah? :)

Yep. Used to be a good products, but they got cocky and was sleeping on laurels for too long and now it's pure crap in the bag. Starting from idiotic interface and ending with shitty hardware.
