Apple's Vice President of Software Technology, Guy L. 'Bud' Tribble, will testify in the upcoming hearing of the Judiciary Subcommittee on Privacy, according to The Loop.
U.S. Senator Al Franken announced the witness list today which included Tribble and representatives for the Federal Trade Commission, U.S. Department of Justice, Center for Democracy and Technology, Association for Competitive Technology, Google, and others.
The hearings are entitled "Protecting Mobile Privacy: Your Smartphones, Tablets, Cell Phones and Your Privacy," and will take place on Tuesday, May 10 at 10:00 am.
