AppDaddy Technologies is reporting that they've heard their Tactical NAV app may have been used during the mission to locate Bin Laden.

An elite crew of American forces killed bin Laden during a daring raid on Monday, capping the world's most intense manhunt. Bin Laden was shot in the head during a firefight and then quickly buried at sea.
"I have no way to confirm or deny if Tactical NAV was used during this mission - but, I am extremely happy and proud to say that the hard work of our Armed Forces has finally paid off," said Army Capt. Jonathan Springer, creator of Tactical NAV and battalion fire support officer with the 101st Airborne Division. "My hat goes off to those who took part in this dangerous mission, and my thoughts and prayers go out to the families and friends whose loved ones have paid the ultimate sacrifice serving for our great nation".
Tactical NAV is an iPhone app that helps soldiers in mapping, plotting, and photographing waypoints on the battlefield. It primarily uses the Military Grid Reference (MGRS) and is currently available in the iTune's App Store. It works like a wartime location-based service, conveying coordinates to supporting units.

Pricing and Availability:
Tactical NAV 1.1 is $5.99 USD (or equivalent amount in other currencies) and available worldwide exclusively through the App Store in the Navigation category.
