Apple took down the online Apple Store last night to remove the white iPhone 4, according to a 9to5Mac report.
The Apple Store went down at Midnight Eastern time. Since then, our retail contact went into Apple’s system and the only change noticed was the removal of the White iPhone SKU.
The report was corroborated by AppleRumors.it who noted that all graphical references to the white device were removed as well.
Last month Phil Schiller confirmed the white iPhone 4 would be available in Spring; however, this seems to contradict that.
Does anyone care to disagree with the fact that you can't remove the white iPhone 4 because the white iPhone 4 never existed?
The white iPhone 4 never existed and according to "Steve Jobs", because "Apple makes such amazing products and we get the press whipped up so well, we can announce a product that we have absolutely no intention to ever make"
You can check Steve's interview on why there never really was a white iPhone 4: goo.gl/HWvZF
I have a white iPhone 4 half from that kid who got pinched for stealing from foxconn. Whether or not the white ip4 has camera glare issues, mine does not. There is a bit of light leakage from the sides in pitch black. I was really hoping to b able to compare to the one apple released but it appears I will not get the chaNce.
Well I know that the white iPhone camera had glare issues ....
Then when people herd about that people stop buying white iPhones then the money went down the drain.
Maybe there was something else also?
In the UK store, when you select an iphone 4 for purchase, the next page showing accessories, all the bumpers still have the white iphone 4 there.
