CodingMammoth has updated QuickScale. QuickScale 3.8 is an application built for Mac OS X to scale images. There are a lot of options available, ranging from scaling methods to custom names. QuickScale offers 5 different scaling methods.

One of the features is the possibility to scale using the CoreImage technology of Mac OS X, which results in dramatically better image quality. Droplets are little applications with just one purpose: scaling images with the settings when you created the droplet; drop your images on the droplet and the images will be scaled using the settings saved in the droplet.

Another feature lets you specify the custom name of saved images with the use of predefined tokens like date, index numbers and sizes. It's also possible to add a watermark to your images, both text and images are supported. QuickScale embraces the latest technology; QuickLook is used to show quick previews of the imported images and CoreImage can be used as export-engine for better scaling results. In the latest update, we increased the performances of QuickScale.
