Apple has reportedly hired Naval Security Expert David Rice to be its Director of Global Security, according to All Things Digital.

With iPhones and iPads penetrating the enterprise in ever more impressive numbers, companies want to know they’re secure. Rice is a 1994 graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy, has a master's degree in Information Warfare and Systems Engineering from the Naval Postgraduate School, served as a Global Network Vulnerability analyst for the National Security Agency, and served as a Special Duty Cryptologic officer for the Navy.
