Evidence found in the latest iOS 4.3 beta reveals that the iPad 2 may only get a 1MP rear facing camera, according to 9to5Mac.
Weve done some digging in the latest SDK it looks like Apples much rumored second-generation iPad will not feature some fancy 5 megapixel camera, but will instead shoot your flicks and take your pics with something close to a 1 megapixel camera. Thats awfully close to the fourth-generation iPod touchs 0.7 megapixel back camera so we speculate they could be the same thing.
The front facing camera is expected to be VGA similar to the current iPhone 4 and iPod touch 4G. Its thought that the rear camera may only be 1MP due to the tapering of the device edges.
