The planned launch date for News Corp's iPad-only publication "The Daily" is January 19th, according to Forbes.
The debut cant come soon enough for The Dailys staffers, who for weeks have been engaged in full-scale dry runs, cranking out dummy issues for what Ive been told is a distribution list of 1,000 privileged readers. The company has still not revealed anything about the publication but they have put up a teaser site at thedaily.com with a "Coming Soon" message.
Apple is rumored to announce iTunes subscriptions at a media event in the near future. The Daily was thought to make its debut at this event.
