AutoCAD WS for iPhone and iPad has been updated with support for offline editing and the ability to open email attachments.

AutoCAD WS mobile app enables you to view and work with AutoCAD drawings directly on your iPad, iPhone, or iPod touch. Using the touch and gesture interface of your iPad or iPhone you can accurately view, annotate, and revise drawings on the spot. Change the way you work in the field or on the road by reducing the need to carry around over-sized paper drawings.

What's New In This Version:

✓Offline Editing
Work on your drawings, even when you don’t have a 3G or Wi-Fi connection. Convenient for times when you are in the field, find yourself with a poor connection, or want to view and edit while you are in meetings or out of the office. From your online AutoCAD WS account, select the option to save a local version to your iPad or iPhone. When you reconnect, AutoCAD WS will re-sync your offline DWG files to capture the edits and annotations you’ve made and place them into the timeline correctly. From there, you can download the changes to your AutoCAD software for further editing, or share them with other users.

✓Open Email Attachments
You can now open DWG and DXF™ files that you have received as email attachments directly into AutoCAD WS. You will need an online connection to upload the email attachments, but once they are in your AutoCAD WS account, you can save a local copy to work on offline.

✓Connectivity Improvements
We have reduced the bottlenecking that caused issues immediately following the original release resulting in significantly improved connectivity.

✓High Resolution Support for iPhone 4 Retina Display
New icons to support four times more pixels on the high-resolution, high-contrast iPhone 4.

You can download AutoCAD WS from the App Store for free.
